If you have followed our previous guide on how to install a custom ROM on your smartphone, there are still some things that you should take into consideration.
It’s always wise to choose a device that will be compatible with the ROM you are about to flash. Otherwise, you will run the risk of bricking the device.
And that’s not all, as there are still some things that you have to do before proceeding.
We will cover the steps that you should do before starting the installation of a custom ROM.
Flash a custom recovery
The first thing that you need to do is to boot your device into the recovery mode. This is done by holding the power and volume keys.
After the recovery menu appears on your screen, press the volume up and power keys to select the option for your device.
This will boot your device into the recovery mode, and once it loads you will have to load a custom recovery. This is how you start the installation.
Download an installation package
Once you have booted your phone into the recovery mode you will have to download an installation package.
Usually, these files are in the form of a.zip archive. Once it’s downloaded you can extract the files inside the archive to find the installation package.
We will not cover the procedures for creating a custom recovery, but you can find it here.
You can install the ROM that you want to flash using this custom recovery.
It’s recommended to use a custom recovery as this will help you to apply the ROM to your device, and fix it if something goes wrong.
Have a look at the previous guides that we have published on how to install a custom ROM on your smartphone.
Use the instructions that we have provided to install the ROM that you want to flash.
The installation process is similar for all the devices that we have discussed in our previous guides.
We also recommend you to take the time to read the instructions for each device that you want to update.
Here at Bionic Mac we have collected a
Highlight files with certain extensions, including a custom list of extensions. This component brings up a drop-down menu, for customizing the list. The configuration file can be modified with specific extensions, keywords, and other criteria.
Rainmeter panel :
This particular Rainmeter provides information on battery life, data transfer rate, and computer system uptime, while CPU and RAM usage can be monitored with a similar style of graphs. Additionally, the application highlights files matching the pre-defined keywords.
A launcher allows both the quick and easy access to various presets, as well as the ability to create new ones. Included in the config file are various options, along with a small indicator showing when custom settings can be applied.
With the MediaPlayer component, connected portable devices can be mounted in the form of a picture slideshow. A link can be specified for each of the desired drives, with the application highlighting the selected drive when active. Further, a small notepad displays all changes, with the ability to create new notes, or modify existing entries.
Installation is easily done through the installer, which is provided with each component. In order to activate the virtual key, the settings must be configured, but this can be done in a few steps. In the case of MagazinelikeSUITE, the configuration file is located in the same folder. For more information, refer to the installation guide.

Implementing a Custom Weather Station
When making a decision on what weather station to buy, there’s no point in playing around with the available options. Whether you choose a cloudbase for purposes of weather, or city data, the weather station has to be easy to install, with ample data. More importantly, it should be possible to customize it to fit your needs.
You will need to download the data file to your PC, as well as the setup program. Both can be done from the EiF Marketplace, but the process for installing the software isn’t that complicated, and can be done manually, or through an installation program.
The EiF Marketplace provides a full product list, and prices for all of the software programs included in the package. When looking at prices, you have to consider the cost of using the data files, as well as the entire service. For example,
What’s New in the MagazinelikeSUITE?
The gadget-like menu bar at the top of the screen can be hidden from sight, and replaced with a more conventional one. In addition to setting the number of columns, background color, and position of the menu bar, users can add a customized status bar, which is an easy way to show current battery power.
The traditional column-view interface, which would have seen a computer before the advent of gadgets, can be tweaked with each element in a customizable manner. The components include basic elements like battery, volume, and media, and a collection of trays, gadgets, and gadgets linked to a particular application.
The custom tray shows space and date information. There’s a slider to switch between the two variants.
Gadgets allow users to add their favorite elements, and customize them accordingly. By default, the categories include Battery, Sound, Notifications, Communication, Internet, and Tools. There’s also an Advanced Category to provide basic customization options, as well as a Delete category to remove elements from the tray.
The volume component opens the file manager, allowing quick access to volume configurations. There’s also a button to enable a remote control, with its associated key, if the component is in use.
The Media component allows users to manage the music collection in a number of ways. By default, two presets are filled in, with support for file browser, and Music Library, allowing for a full control over the content.
The Communication component is used to set up calls, and devices. By default, it allows users to make and receive calls, send and receive messages, as well as take and reject calls.
The Internet component lets users manage online services. By default, it offers access to their IM, AOL, and Yahoo accounts.
The Tools component is used to set up the settings for the current gadget, and let users change the volume, set the time, and sort apps.
MagazinelikeSUITE is available for the Mac platform, and Windows. Free versions are available for both, with a 30-day trial in each case.
Reworked, polished, and enhanced this is the best customized weather application ever created for free.
The aim of the application is to make it super easy to find out about the weather for the entire world. There are many different ways to find out about the weather, ranging from reading local data to international organization. Weather Headlines will automatically update you with the latest weather conditions.
You can also customize the application using many different templates. I suggest using one of the new weather templates so that you can customize the application to your liking.
The application is available for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms.
